Vacation is over, drove back to Connecticut from Peak's Island, Maine.

Once back home, a phone message revealed a promotion at work for me.

Nipmuck Trail Marathon

June 5, 1994 - Ashford, Connecticut

First attempt at a trail marathon, Nipmuck.  My folks drove down to watch, along with DL, and my friend RunSteveo joined me over the second half to help keep me focused.

I finished in 23rd place, 4:02:00.  Initially, I was very nervous concerning the distance, but the run  ended up not being as difficult as I had dreaded.  This was my 3rd completed.
