Attended the Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic and concert with Mike G, in Hillsboro, Texas.

The event was at Carl's Corner, a town of less than a 1000 population.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at Dallas Alley.

Beach Boys concert at Arlington Stadium, after a Rangers Baseball game, with DL.

Concrete Blonde concert at Redux, in Dallas, Texas.

Meat Puppets show at Theatre Gallery, 2808 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas.

Husker Du and Christmas at Club Clearview,  2625 Elm Street, Dallas, Texas.

Saw the Ramones with Daylights at the Longhorn Ballroom, with Tracy and Cool Cat. 

DL & I stopped into the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas to see a set by Brave Combo.

DL and I attended the Iggy Pop and Pretenders double bill at Reunion Arena, Dallas, TX. 

Drove into Dallas to see Jonathan Richman at Redux. 

DL  had purchased a block of twelve tickets to see Genesis at Reunion Arena in Dallas.  

We attended with friends, some old ones from Adams, some newer ones from Denmark.

Great show, I recall scalpers offering $200 for any available tickets.  We kept all of ours.

At one point in the show, a concert-goer down a few levels was screaming at us to "throw it, throw it".  Mike G proceded to hurl his 32 ounce beer right into the guys chest from above.  At this point, the beer soaked guy replied "the frisbee you idiot".  No hard feelings.  We never saw any frisbee...

Great show, Genesis and Phil Collins were probably at the peak of their popularity.
