Tunxis State Forest 18.4K Trail Run

K2 took the journey with me today, to Tunxis and the Barkhamsted Reservoir area.

Managed 11.4-miles, saw a massive deer and a very small bear cub.

Granville Drake Mtn 12.25K Trail Run

Another run in Granville, checking yet one more trail/path.

Ended with 7.6-miles.

 3.4-miles on Main Street in the dark.

Weekly Weigh In while involved with the 61-Day Challenge - 207.3 lbs.

4-mile run along the Metacomet from Route 20 North to the Boy Scout Shelter, and back.

New England Trail 13K Trail Run (8-Miles)

Managed the Metacomet from Phelps Road south to Peak Mountain, and back.

Out in 53:30, back in 50:00.

K2 got a solid 2-hours on his legs as well.

Peoples State Forest 10K Trail Run (6.2-Miles)

After picking up a new "used" guitar in Winsted, I ran a modified Peoples State Forest race-course.

My version ended up at 10k, or 6.2-miles.

Watery Hill 6-Hour Run

November 6, 1999 - Somewhere in MA or RI

I completed 30-miles during the Watery Hill Six-Hour Race today, with Johnny Bandit.  

I called it a day at 5:35:00.

4-mile run along the Metacomet from Route 20 North to the Boy Scout Overnight Shelter, and back. 

Completed the enjoyable ramble just before darkness began to set in.

I completed 33-miles during the Watery Hill Six-Hour Race today, with Johnny Bandit.  

I called it a day at 6:00:00.

We had a "little" visitor to our patio early this morning...

Bash Bish Falls Marathon

November 2, 1997 - South Taconic Trail, MA & NY

The Old Goat, the Gullivers, and a few others rambled out to Bash Bish Falls to participate in a marathon along the South Taconic Trail.  

I managed 26-miles in 6:28:00, with the last few miles being in a driving rain.  

This was my 18th marathon.

And, on this day in 1993,  I completed the Bridgeport Marathon in ~3:32:00.  

This was my second completed marathon, and I remember it being more difficult than the first.
