Running at Whitiker Woods and McCann Family Farm Trails in Somers, Connecticut.

Visited Ashfield and Plainfield today to do some snowshoeing along the snowmobile corridor.  Began just below South Face Farm Sugarhouse, and headed past Peppermint Park.

The return to the Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center for Round III!  This time with some serious climbing added.  Or, more climbing...

I managed a 16th out of 49 finishers in the race.  The 2013 season is over!!!!

15th or so Annual Hawley Kiln "Notch" 4.6-Mile Snowshoe Race
March 2nd, 2013 - Dubuque State Forest - Hawley, MA

Another organizing effort, this time for a Notch version.  Went out early to mark and check ribbons, finished in 43rd place in the race.

Ended, as usual, at South Face Farm Sugarhouse to semi-close out the season.

Marked the Hawley Notch Course for the 2013 Snowshoe Season.

I organized and directed this one.  Additionally, I managed a 47th of 56 for the race; I went out early with Tippi.

February 17th, 2013 - Dubuque State Forest - Hawley, MA

I directed another event in Hawley, with 54 finishers.  I went out early to mark and track, and finished in 54th.  In my race notes, I mentioned that I had "tracked" the course four-times since Thursday, and then once more taking the markings down after the race with Tippi.

Our series has always been about inclusion, so this year we welcomed Moore State Park into the mix.  37 finishers in the first year event.

I managed a 11th out of 44 finishers in the race.

10th Annual Camp Saratoga ~5-Mile Snowshoe Race

February 9th, 2013 - Wilton Wildlife Preserve - Wilton, NY

The Camp Saratoga 5-Mile Snowshoe Race at Wilton Wildlife Preserve was held by my very good friends JC & LC.  Snow arrived for the event, with 52 finishing.

14th Annual Saratoga Spa Winterfest 5km Snowshoe Race

February 3rd, 2013 - Saratoga Springs, NY

The 14th Saratoga Spa Winterfest 5km Snowshoe Race at Spa Park in Saratoga Springs, New York directed by my friends Laura and Jeff.  No snow once again at this one.

11th Curly's Record Run 5-Mile Snowshoe Race
January 27th, 2013 - Pittsfield State Forest - Pittsfield, MA

This year's Curly's Record Run was also the Massachusetts and Connecticut State Championships, in addition to being one of our core series races.  I managed 13th of 73, and was rewarded with a bronze medal for third Connecticut finisher!

Back in business with snow this year, another strong race for me, 7th of 97.
