Hawley Dubuque / Berkshire East Marathon
June 1st, 2013 - Hawley & Charlemont, Massachusetts

I completed my 51st marathon - Hawley Berkshire East.  I had Wuzzam with me for this one, which was a real beast. 

We had a total time on feet of 7:45:15, which was the longest either of us have ever been on our feet moving through the forest.  It was most likely more than a marathon distance.  By several miles...  (or more).

Visited Ashfield and Plainfield today to do some snowshoeing along the snowmobile corridor.  Began just below South Face Farm Sugarhouse, and headed past Peppermint Park.

The return to the Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center for Round III!  This time with some serious climbing added.  Or, more climbing...

I managed a 16th out of 49 finishers in the race.  The 2013 season is over!!!!

15th or so Annual Hawley Kiln "Notch" 4.6-Mile Snowshoe Race
March 2nd, 2013 - Dubuque State Forest - Hawley, MA

Another organizing effort, this time for a Notch version.  Went out early to mark and check ribbons, finished in 43rd place in the race.

Ended, as usual, at South Face Farm Sugarhouse to semi-close out the season.
