Took a drive to Hawley to run in Dubuque State Forest, one of my favorite "woods" on this earth.

Rambled around for 13.4-Miles, enjoying just about every step.  Trails were in very good shape for the most part.

On the way home, stopped off at Perkarski's for some smoked meat to bring home.

Ended the night with a 1-Mile walk with Lily.

4-Miles in Granville and 1-Mile walk with Lily.

Thursday, June 23, 2022

Walk Lily 1-mile.

On this day in 2012, Wuzzam and I completed a Metacomet Marathon, with a time of 7:00:00.

Tippi ran the first section with us, from Route 20 to Phelps Road, and back (about 10.5-miles).

Weather report was that heating up was very possible - so DL grabbed Tippi early.

This was my 48th marathon completed.

2022 Unsupported Trail Race Fall Challenge #2

Granville "Drake Mountain" 18.5 KM (11.5-miles)

I have been working on learning Granville and Southwick's forest trails again this summer.  Today, I hoped to run a "loop" in the 10 - 13 mile range, without crossing over or repeating bunches of trail.

While I am at this, I am also thinking of somewhat logical names for some of these trails, as they are unofficial and rather random (at least I believe so).

Today, my route was a grand mixture of single-track (the majority), double track, and old forest road.

Finished with 11.5-miles, or 18.5 Km, in 3:00:00 (including stopped time).
