DAR to Bullitt Reservation Marathon
October 9th, 2013 - Goshen & Ashfield, Massachusetts

The DAR Marathon (Daughter's of the American Revolution).

Tippi and I ran a DAR State Forest Marathon today in 6:10:00.  This was my 52nd completed marathon, and Tippi's 17th.  

We began in Goshen, at the Daughter's of American Revolution State Forest, and ran out to Bullitt Reservation, and back.  We enjoyed views from Chapel Ledge and Chapel Falls.

Run in McLean (4.3-miles) with K2 early.

Old Sturbridge Village "Phantoms by Firelight!" in afternoon.

Harwood Road Extension and Stump Sprouts for 5.3-miles prior to a visit with my Mom.

Drive out to Bear Hole to Hike 2.2-miles with DLV.

Dinner out at ICC afterward.

Hartford Marathon
October 1, 1994 - Hartford, Connecticut

Ran through the 1st Hartford Marathon today in ~3:16:00.  My father ran the 5km, my Mom and DL came along to cheer us on.  The finish-time is only six-minutes off a Boston Qualifying Time for my age divsion (sub 3:10).  I feel confident going forward I can reach the qualifying standard.
