13th Annual Hawley Kiln "Notch" 4.6-Mile Snowshoe Race March 7th, 2010 - Dubuque State Forest - Hawley, MA
Another organizing effort, this time for a Notch version. 61 finishers in the race, I brought up the rear once again. Ended, as usual, at South Face Farm Sugarhouse to semi-close out the season.

The Immortal "Moby Dick" Busa 7.3-Mile Snowshoe Race - February 20th, 2010 Mount Greylock State Reservation - Lanesborough, MA
I organized this one, borrowing from the original we did back in March of 2003. This time, we kept "official" score. 61 completed route on a very deep snow day! Tippi and I completed the course in the dark, pre-race, checking all the markings and arrows before hand.

We really got our monies worth today (Tippi and I).
A) We went over the course/markings for Saturday's Moby Dick event on Greylock for 7.5-miles.
B) We marked the Hallockville Orchard course for Sunday's event for an additional 3.5-miles.
Totaled up 11-miles for the day, and a few hundred miles of driving.

7th Annual Camp Saratoga ~5-Mile Snowshoe Race
February 13th, 2010 - Wilton Wildlife Preserve - Wilton, NY
The Camp Saratoga 5-Mile Snowshoe Race at Wilton Wildlife Preserve was held by my very good friends JC & LC.
I ended up 27th out of 123 finishers.

Planning the route for the Moby Dick Snowshoe event; Lanesborough Visitor Center to Rounds Rock and back measured roughly 7.5-miles for Tippi and I, completed in two-hours.
The eleventh Saratoga Spa Winterfest 5km Snowshoe Race at Spa Park in Saratoga Springs, New York directed by my friends Laura and Jeff. I finished 8th of 92 racers!
