Long hike that included parts of the Appalachian Trail, for research with author L.S. We covered Undermountain, Appalachian Trail over Bear Mt, through Sages Ravine, over Race Mountain and down Race Brook Trail to witness the falls, which were roaring.

While on yesterday's walking tour of Catamount, I noticed several slightly hidden single-track trails heading off into the wilderness that drew me back to further explore.

K2 and I participated in a walking history tour of Catamount State Forest in Colrain, Massachusetts. We were exposed to some of the old roads, cellar holes, lore, and even a cave within the forest.

A nice big loop in Savoy Mountain State Forest, from the Busby Trailhead up to Spruce Hill, then along the Lost Pond Trail, and finally joining the Blackburnian Loop and Old Florida Road.
